Our response to the current situation with regards to the COVID-19 virus

As a response to the current situation with regards to the COVID-19 virus, please be assured that BNL have taken precautionary action in line with WHO and local Government advice to ensure we reduce any risks to our ongoing supply.

The actions we have taken fall into two main categories:

  • Reducing the risk of the virus spreading within our employees
  • Assessing the risk of our ability to continue supplying products and reviewing stock holdings of our customers

Reducing the risk of the virus spreading within our employees

Policies and process have been implemented over the last six weeks globally, to ensure our teams have the information necessary to recognise the symptoms of the disease, understand best practice in preventing the spread of the disease and know exactly how to react to minimise the personal and wider impact of any confirmed cases. The health and well-being of our employees remains our number one priority and we will continue to communicate effectively any necessary information as the situation evolves.

Assessing the risk of our ability to continue supplying products and reviewing the stock holding of our customers

For all of our Key Accounts, we have undertaken a full assessment of the current supply chain position and our ability to continue to support our partners around the world. Currently, we foresee no supply issues from any of our factories globally and we carry extensive inventories. Your Business Account Manager can provide a more detailed view if required, explaining where in our manufacturing footprint your products are currently made and our current inventory position. We will also be supportive of any actions you wish to take to further mitigate your own supply chain position.

BNL are in a favourable position to sustain supply, given our commitment to inventory and our diversified manufacturing footprint, with separate key manufacturing hubs in Europe and in Asia, both of which are fully capable of taking on the production of any of our products.

The global situation remains very fluid and we will continue to adopt and change our policies and procedures to meet the needs of our employees and customers. As and when there are changes to the situation that have the potential to impact our customer base, we will of course communicate with all our customers and do all that is possible to maintain supply.
