Integration
Our integrated shaft + bearing products replace more expensive, multi-component alternatives. We can replace or eliminate many components including standard and steel bearings, pulleys, rollers, fixings, steel shafts, grounding straps, gears, shields, belt features, guides and circlips, belt features, guides and keyways.
Materials
Non- magnetic – We use non-magnetic materials to eliminate electrical interference in critical areas. Our all plastic bearing and shaft designs can be made in a variety of materials, including POM, UHMWPE, PEEK and with glass, plastic or ceramic balls.
Conductivity – Shafts, bearings and other components in our ATM products are often moulded using different plastic materials to assist with static-conductivity. We can integrate different material shafts and bearings or rollers using over-moulding techniques, so expensive grounding straps are not needed to remove static build-up from the system. By developing moulding techniques for these different materials, we can offer the same integration of components and custom designed features as with our standard materials, whilst repelling paper dust generated by note and paper processing.
Grease free – Thermoplastics are naturally lubricated and require no additional grease to operate efficiently. Our products do not need lubricants that can leach onto paper and notes or combining with paper dust to cause paper jams and grinding pastes that can cause mechanisms to prematurely wear.
